I have been diagnosed with a redundant colon, I have cronic constapation had it for years , but it is now to the point i dont want to eat because i never know if i will gdont know anyone with this problem o to the bathroom , I take all kinds of otc pills , fiber , enimas ect just to have a little releife , i found a doctor that is treating me know doing all kinds of test ,colon, test 1 gastric empting study test 2 small bowel follow through test 3 sitz marker study test 4 defecography .test 5 baloon expulsion test , before a possible surgery , I want to be normal and go to bathroom at least everother day ,if i have the surgery they might take out as much as 16'in of my colon , it is very long with curves and lots of twist , I want this done , but at the same time getting a little anxiety about it , Does anyone have this condition or had the surgery , if so is it worth it and do you feel better ? kinda need some positive feedback
