I agree, it is time to run all your problems past a GI specialist and yes, you may need a coloncsopy.
IBS can be so very different for each person but usually once you have had it for awhile you learn what works and doesn't work for you. Irritable bowel syndrome commonly causes cramping, abdominal pain, bloating gas, diarrhea and constipation. Despite these uncomfortable signs and symptoms, IBS doesn't cause permanent damage to your colon.
I was dx with IBS 11 years ago and in January of 2012 I started having new issues with my IBS, especially severe fatigue....................in August of 2012 I went in for my annual physical and I was dx with a very large colon cancerous tumor that was nearly completely blocking my large colon. Don't try to guess what might be happening - see a GI and get a dx and then move on with learning to deal with IBS if that is your problem.
