I think the OP/turnabout
has hit upon something here and is merely trying to sit in such a way to relax the muscles in that area. So the pain does not start in the middle of the night.
I've had these pains too and sure diet, fiber supplements all help, but the pain is nearly a separate problem from having either C or D. So while suggestions are great, again, I think turnabout
was just trying to reach out to those struggling with this specific cramping pain. When you get it, it's real folks and nearly crippling. It's ALL you can think about
What sometimes helps me is to put my feet on a garbage can or stool while sitting the toilet. But that's my method.
