Wow, this thread really made me feel hopeful. I have IBS and IBD and they feed off each other. I have also been on every anti depressant known to man. They all have so many side effects from them, either d or c. I tried effexor and think it made me have to pee like every ten minutes. Cymbalta gave me anxiety, pexeva worked ok but it made me a little tired (derivative of paxil) the zoloft I am on right now seems to be giving me d and reflux. It works best for my depression. I think lexapro and cymbalta gave me c but it has been so long, I forget. Wellbutrin made me depressed and cry a lot. One thing I worry about
is the difference between the generic and the name brand. What do y'all think? The only other one I have not tried is prozac and I actually have some in my cabinet. I think I am going to give it a try to see how that works. There are so many things that are going on with my gut now with inflammation ibs and diverticular disease. Whew! Finding a balance between all my meds is like looking for a needle in the haystack!!! Lots of questions from me and no answers. lol.... I love this forum.
