So I accidentally went to the Lupus board (since it is right under the IBS board) and something caught my eye:

"You know you have Lupus when...."  I was so curious because I had no idea what Lupus was.  Anyway, they were having a lot of fun with this so I thought we should try it too.

...when you drive your fiance out of the room by talking about post-gall bladder problems and IBS with your mother-in-law... and oftentimes do it unconsciously over dinner.

...when you keep a supply of pillls for all occasions in both your purse and your desk drawer at work. And when you go on vacation, you take even more with you.

....... you wake up an extra hour before work "just in case".

........ you have TUMS and PEPTO in your car, office, bedroom, bathroom, garage, and girlfriends house.

....... your friends who are drunk feel like throwing up and you feel like having D.

....... you had to pull over on the freeway to use a road construction port-o-crapper or else you would have had to buy new pants.

....... your friends buy extra toilet paper for when you come over.

I could go on................ but I will let other join in the fun.

Oh how fun, o.k. here's mine. You know you have ibs when the thought of a clean, many-stalled, empty restroom nearby gives you an enormous sense of well being and that everything is right with the world!

LOL... my hubby and I were just talking the other day about having a seat in your car that opens up underneath you in the middle (like a toilet) when you just have to go but then we said that it wouldn't be too pleasant for the cars behind you  devil

Last night (I think it was last night) Jay Leno was making fun of this toilet. I thought his comments were so rude. I'm sure he didn't even consider people with IBS and especially Crohn's or UC who are almost house bound because of the disease... this toilet gives them hope of leaving the house and going on long trips. Anyway, just thought I'd share that.

... when you could provide a detailed report on the cleanliness of the public bathrooms in the stores/restaurants where you live.  You also probably know what times they get cleaned, and probably even who the cleaning lady is!

You know your significant other knows you have IBS when you make a mild complaint, he asks if you need to go, you tell him you can wait until you get a bit further down the road but he stops immediately anyways and tells you to go.

your in the market to buy a house, and the first thing you look at in the listing is how many bathrooms there are
