The probiotics are good to take if you are having to take an antibiotic which depelets the body of the good bacteria but my thinking is to not take anything you do not have to because all things have side effect. The less the better. The side effect of taking calcium is constipation so this is helpful if you are trying to control diarrhea.
Calcium carbonate is what to use and you can take up to 3 a day safely and take them with food always at least 4 or 5 hours apart.
Vitamins also can upset the stomach and cause diarrhea Vitamin a c e and magnesium which is in most vitamins.
