Question for Celiac's and Lactose Intolerants...

For those who have Celiac's (or wheat intolerance) and those with lactose intolerance....

How soon after eating these foods do you feel ill?

sometimes while eating the food, but at the latest within thirty minutes of the first bite.

Im Lactose Intollerant, and I feel it by the time Ive hit the third bite if I dont take my suppliments before hand.

If it's lactose intolerance, it should occur within 2 hours of eating any form of lactose. Not sure about the gluten, though...

I am also Lactose Intolerant, and never make it all the way through the meal, before mad dash for potty room.

I'm lactose intolerant, for me it would depend on how much lactose I put in my system, the more of it I had the sooner the symptoms hit, the less I had the more subtle it was...but I use lactaid pills now and cut back on my dairy anyways...although it's amazing where you'll find lactose as an ingredient...Itchiban beef flavored soup, taco chips, ect.
