I have been so forgetful lately but I have been meaning to post the link to a site that I have found to be so helpful in discussing to my son "what is wrong with mommy" without going into all those crazy medical terms that I can't even understand... this site is also good for the children in explaining any problems they have (including IBS).

I can just hear it now, "My Mommy poops too much." Lol. Maybe really young children should not get much detail.
