Nice to meet you all, sorry it is for things such as these wonderful diseases in our life but at least we have one another
I am 34, have had stomach issues for all my life with stomach pain, constipation, bloating and constant feeling of wanting to throw up. Over the last 5 years I have had a series of different issues and had abdominal surgery for what they believed to have been pnumotosis of the stomach wall lining, portal venous gas in my veins to my liver and stomach to then developing an infection, this all came on in a matter of 24 hours and just kept getting worse so I ended up in surgery. They found ulcers, severe gastritis and sever IBS. I was there for over a week.
This year I was found to have a sluggish gallbladder, had that removed, it relived me of that pain but now since then I feel worse than I have ever felt before. I was told after this last surgery that I had a lot of deep scar tissue from my last surgery which they feel maybe another source of a problem but I have constant pain, feeling of extreme hunger empty pains, feeling of being ready to vomit and overall just feeling worn down, tired, no energy and an overall I feel like death feeling.
I am currently taking Linzess, an acid blocker and estatest for my total hysterectomy I also had during that major abdominal surgery.
Anyone experience abdominal lesions and IBS or one or the other? How do you manage?
Thanks for any and all support.
