I can't eat nuts and seeds even in small amounts. I even tried cooking them and chewing them reallly well but it still hurts when I eat them.

Just wanted to see if anyone else can eat nuts and seeds without problems.

I haven't noticed a problem when I eat them, however I do eat them sparingly. Do these nuts have a lot of oil or salt on them? That might be the problem.

Hi JJ,
I can eat nuts and seeds. I noticed not too long ago though that eating pistachios give me D and too much of any fatty nut (like Brazil Nut) does too.

Do you have diberticulitous? My stepfather has it and has to beware of seeds. Nuts he can eat, but not seeds. If he gets flared up, he can't eat strawberries because of the seeds.

I can handle soft nuts (ie; cashews) and seeds but others really hurt. Strawberries are absolutely the worst for me! I can end up in hospital with the pain of eating them!

Thanks everyone

It looks like most of you can handle nuts and seeds it seems to flare me up.

If you have a problem with straberries and you want to still eat them you could slice off the outer skin with the seeds on it...it would be a pain but you could still eat straberries if you wanted to then.
