Hey all,

Well things are still as they always are, IBS is still there and it seems to be looming over my daily activities. I saw Lil in your previous post, and i only say that it must be rough for you, and im really sorry for that. I will keep you in my prayers, as i will do for everyone else as well. Im just curious though as too has anyones symptoms worsened for them since they have had IBS? Or have they remained the same....

Which symptoms are you referring to? Are you talking about general well being, quality of life? IBS takes its toll on us physically and emotionally. It gets very frustrating because you are left to figure out a treatment plan for yourself because even though there are similarities between people, not everyone has the same triggers, etc. You can get worn out with trying every thing out there. Once you do find out though, life can get somewhat better.

Hi, and thank you for your kind words.
I really think IBS can differ depending at what stage you are in your life. When it first came on for me it wasn't as bad as it is now. Then I went a couple years feeling pretty good.... and in the past year it has been worse than it has ever been. My doctor says that if you are happy and satisfied in life then your IBS can be dormant or pretty minimal. I'm just waiting to be happy.
I hope for you it doesn't "loom" over your activites too close. Some days it can be easier to maintain; and those are the days we should all pray for.
