I was looking up some info on the prep Visicol and started browsing around the Salix pharmaceutical site.  I saw that they have a IBS antispasmodic oral spray called "IB-Stat".  I was wondering if anyone has heard of it or tried it.  It sounds very interesting to me.  A spray is pretty neat and I'm sure its fast acting.  If anyone has experience with it, please let me know.  Thanks

I've heard of that too - where can we get some???  Also, what about those sublingual doodoos?  The ones you put under your tongue...I want those too!

I got the sublingual ones Sarita... I have the Symax but Nulev is also sublingual. That IB-Stat is through a prescription also. I'm thinking about asking my doc about that next time.

i have the spray. you use it like chloraseptic, and it tastes like cough medicine. i have only had it a few days--i haven't noticed a great change yet, i will let you know. it is supposed to relieve the pain for 30min....
my doctor (that i hate) perscribed it to me...

I have the sublingual hyoscamine pills, but they never did anything to stop my gall bladder or sugar alcohol-induced cramping.

dbab,
i have found some relief with it.. haven't used it for the searing cramps, but it helped with my minor ones--so check it out.

**it does contain alcohol though...
