Hi guys!!

I have a question..im a bit of a worrywart, but what is on your lower right side like right next to your hipbone? Cuz for the past day its been hurting really bad, almost like a pulled muscle, but its too deep to be a muscle, it feels like an organ. The pain comes and goes, but when it comes its really bad!! I just dont know what to think.

Another topic..im back to constipation now, but yesterday I kept feeling like I had to go but couldnt!! It just wouldnt go. So I took two Fibercon pills early in the day, and then had a little bit of hard, little stools.  Then, like 30 min later, I had really foul smelling loose poop! I was like WHAT is going on?! Its it common to have "constipated diarrhea"?

Another topic..haha has anyone ever head of Colonic Inertia (a.k.a Paralyzed Colon) or does anyone have it?  I have all the symptoms of that but ive really never heard anything about it..tell me what you guys think/know!

Have a Happy New Years!! tongue

Hi blondie,
The area you are describing sounds like where your appendix may be. You will want to get that checked out ASAP. The acute pain symptoms are consistent with appendix pain.
With the constipation, its possible to have hard poop that will stop you up and then have loose poop. It probably just means that the poop that you had first was already formed and ready and you had to release it before your other came out. Constipation alternating with diarrhea is common and a hard poop is usually first before your episode.
I don't have colonic inertia but I have heard of it. I'm not too familiar with it besides knowing that it can be managed. Many people find relief through miralax with it.

Hope that helps a little :) Happy New Year to you also!

Hi blondie,
I hope your pain has ebbed since yesterday. A trick to check to see if your pain is your appendix is by jumping up and down. If the pain is super crazy and unbarable it is probably your appendix.
Good luck!

And, Happy New Year! :-)
