It sounds like a plausible IBS with constipation to me, as well. A gasteroenteroligist would be able to diagnose.
I don't think it is anything more and there is absolutely no reason to be terrified. It does NOT sound like an IBD, like I have, since you do not describe any blood being present within your bms.
Are you staying well hydrated? If you are not then that could be making it worse.
Have you considered adding a fiber supplement to your diet like metamucil to help move things along naturally? Might be worth a try. Fiber helps bulk and move stool along...
How are your exercise levels? Are you mostly sedentary or do you exercise a lot? Exercise can help move along stool.
