I have to say that I don't think it was food poisoning. The experience wasn't bad enough - like bunny mentioned, I think there is vomiting too. I had to run with D about
4 times and each time was less and less (no vomiting, no nausea). My ex had to run with D twice. It must have been a coincidence for him. Sometimes it just happens that spices don't agree with us.
Anyway, I am feeling a lot better today. Last night though, because I was holding it for so long (in the car racing back), the cramps seemed to stay with me for hours. What a nightmare.
I think I'm going to stay optimistic about
my IBS until something of the like happens again. When/if that happens I know I'm going to break down.
Bunny, I was on my way to see Lifehouse. They were at the smallest venue San Francisco has - I would have been 15 feet away.
All night long we kept looking at the clock saying "Oh, they'd be coming on stage now." "Oh, we'd be leaving now." "Oh, we'd be getting home just about
now." I felt so defeated and angry with myself. All the previous concerts I have gone to I had starved myself before hand because I knew I could not afford to take the chance. Looks like I will continue to do that if I ever buy tickets again.
