Hi there guys and hi Lil!

I ordered some digestive advantage a few days ago but was reading some old posts and read drugstore.com's website today and found that there are two types - chewable tabs and swallowable caplets?

Do any of you guys know if there are real differences between the two - Lil, i noticed that you said you switched to the pills and found them better? - i have found out i ordered the tabs

Hope someone can clear this up for me :-)

Roadtrip,
I didn't notice any changes in ingredients - but for some reason the caplets work better for me. Maybe you can experiment.... if you order DA again (because they work for you), try the pills.
Good luck! And please, let us know what you think.

i hope it works for you-- i hated the way the chewables tasted, but i wish the best for you!

I might have to try the tablets. I take the chewables and they seem to work okay but not 100%.

Bunny, that's funny because I actually started to like those chewables. I accidentally bought the pills and I was so pissed at myself when I saw they weren't chewable. I thought they were inconvenient (since I had to find water - couldn't just pop them in when I remembered). But then the pills worked better and I kept buying those instead.

Good luck, roadtrip!

Des, let us know if you switch and how it works for you.

hey,

i've just been looking at some sites and the diffrence between the two (apart from the obvious) is that the tabs contain aspartame - probably to make them taste nicer because you chew them

Now i know aspartame isn't beneficial to most people, least of all those who have IBS. I'm begginning to wish i'd ordered the caplets now. What am i gona do guys or am i just over reacting. Lil, do you reckon the two diffrent types are much different from one another, i mean will i notice a difference with the tabs or will the aspartame limit some of the results?

i could still cancel my order and start again by ordering the caplets, but then again they only come in large packs and i don't want to wait even longer (it says 10-16 business days for shipping and they haven't even shipped yet!) I don't know what to do, sorry if i'm sounding impatient and neurotic but i just want to get these pills asap to see if they work! (and also make sure i get the right ones to be sure!)

i just really want something that works, or even helps a little you know?! i bet i'm panicking over nothing and i'll be one of the unlucky ones on which they have no effect.... confused

Roadtrip,
Because they come in such a large packet it may behoove you to get the one that will work the best for you. Since your order has not ship you may want to cancel and order the pills.
I never noticed the ingredients difference in refrence to aspartame - thanks for pointing it out. We all know aspartame is not "great" for IBSers (like you mentioned), so maybe you should go for the pills. Sorry!
