I've been a member of this site since 2011. I originally joined to get information from the prostate cancer forum. I've been very lucky with my Prostate Cancer(PC),. No sign of it since Jan 2012.

My Gastroenterologist has me on diclomine 20mg up to four times a day. I'm also on a low carb diet. I mainly eat meat and vegetables and or fruit. I just recently install an app on my phone titled "foodmap A to Z" that will help me with what fruits and veges I"m allowed to eat. I do like my coffee so I always start off with a diclomine in the morning when my IBS is active. Lately it has been more active that usual. It has also changed recently. I use to go from constipated to normal to diarrhea and then I would go backwards and start all over. Lately it has been only diarrhea without the cramping. My first trip to the bathroom in the morning is fairly solid and they get more watery as the day progresses.. Yesterday I made five trips. It is 8:30 am and I've gone twice so far. Today I decided to take a spoonful of Peptobismal after each loose trip to the toilet. Is there anything else I could do to turn this around??? Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Have you ever been tested for celiac disease? I was given an IBS diagnosis years ago. Turns out, I actually had celiac disease all along and not IBS “I Be Stumped”. Celiac disease has over 200 symptoms and you do not need to be underweight or malnourished which are the classic symptoms many doctors have been trained to look for.

It sounds like you are already gluten free, so testing may not be possible. If you are gluten free, learn how to truly be gluten free and avoid gluten exposures and cross contamination.
