Hi I am new to the board.

I was diagnosed with IBS last year after many many test.  Some uncomfortable and inbarassing.  Right now I feel like a guinee pig.  My IBS can be good some days and really bad the next.  I find that lack of sleep, change in diet, certain foods and change in routine affect it.  Right now I was diagnossed with a prolapsed disc and I have server back pain that leads me to be up alot and very tired.  I also found out i will need surgery (Laninectomy) as they have tried everything else.  Right now I am suffering with server diarea that is like a yellow water, very high in mucuss.  I a really tired of this IBS and wish I had it under control.  If anyone has any ideas please help.

Hi Marla,

Welcome to HealingWell!  :-)
Have you looked into Calcium therapy?  It seems to help many IBSers with D.  Here is a link for you:  Calcium Info

It is a lot of information but it really does help.

Take care.
