I have noticed the past couple weeks when I had problems, I had the full feeling up high and bloating all over.  Once I had D and then regualar stool after the first D coming out, I was relieved some.  I am not sure if this is an attack or not?

Hi JHP, It sounds like you might have some trapped gas. Have you tried taking Gas-X or something equivalent? I occasionally get the same thing, the fullness and I look pregnant due to the abdominal extension.

I also was nauseated which once I had two bouts of Stool release, I felt somewhat better. Actually, my b/f gave me a pill for bloating, but it didn't help. Gax-X?

I'm the same way, JHP. I can't eat too much or I immediately get nauseous and bloated. The best thing is to take Gas-X and walk. Maybe take some Tums too. I also like to drink mint tea or green tea to help the digestion.

You can get chewable gas relief pills (I don't know a brand name because mine are generic), and they can help and you don't have to take water (I think all the Gas-X pills are non-chewable?). I took some the other night after a big feast and I was starting to feel a bit overly full and they helped get rid of that feeling.

That is what I thought, as I remember laying in bed and started to panic, then once I got to the toilet, I got hot, my heart started racing......I hate that. I told my b/f to give me an Ativan.......which did help, but today I am zoned.

I used to freak my bf out with the shakes. He finally got used to it.... but still felt so helpless. I think also that when I feel sick I have to be cool. If I am hot at all it will make me feel 10x worse. So usually, I am in a t-shirt and no blanket freezing my tushy off - but it helps me feel better (and adds to the shivers).

I am with you on this! My b/f does whatever it is I ask, but he also tries to help and I appreciate it, but when you feel so crappy and you are shivering(legs, teeth) you just want to feel better. I started to strip last evening.

what do you two mean, shivers? i would think you were cold... when i get the shakes it is usually cause i have a fever...

so about the gas thing, i don't know if you do yoga, but i discovered a pose that actually releases gas... it is actually very funny, but you do have to be careful, cause if you start giggling you will fall over, which is just funnier... but it is "downward facing dog" BUT you raise one leg until as high as you can with your hips still square and while it is raised you turn your torso and hips to the side. (if you raise your right leg, then you turn your torso to the right) i would recommend only doing this if you have practiced yoga before--do not hurt yourself.
but when i discovered what this pose did (i was by myself) i cracked up and shared my joy with my husband, he then laughed as well...
but gas x is great too!!!! i love it!!!

I've never done yoga so I'm sure I would hurt myself.  LOL  Besides, I don't have any problem letting out some wind.  tongue

Yup, the shivers are exactly the same kind people get when they are cold... But usually I am not cold.  I just feel absolutely terrible and it causes me to shake.  On top of which, I do try to stay cool during these times so it could add even more to my shivers.  Strange, I know.  Not many people understand when they see me like that.  I'm glad someone here gets it (JHP!).  :-)

Yep, I know I didn't have a fever, it was the shakes, my legs as I am sitting on the toilet and my teeth chattering.  I felt miserable and I just want to find out what the heck is going on.  I am afraid to eat anything.  I also get a nasty taste in my mouth?

Hi JHP, I'm sorry if you mentioned it already but have you been checked for candida/yeast. It is known to give a bad taste in the mouth. Are you taking probiotics? I'm sorry that you are feeling so awful... (((HUGS)))

No, I haven't been tested for anything, but hopefully I will be soon. I am writing a list down. What is Candida/yeast?

Probiotics are the best for combating yeast overgrowth.
I have a friend who used to get yeast infections a lot (like 1 every couple months), now she takes probiotics and hasn't had one in several months.
