(I know many people view these topics, but it would be very helpful for a reply...thank you!

I have IBS-C/Diverticuposos/Gerd, lost 65 lbs in seven months and have chronic stomach cramping and very loud lower stomach gurgling noises. Niow I am experiencing rectal cramps too.

Besides the Colonoscopy/Upper-Lower GI I have had, is there anyone out there that has had any results going to the Hospital for more tests and procedures, like  an x-ray,Ultrasound,or Endoscopy. I feel there may be more to this pain. from who I talk too, many people seem to have this pain go away.  This is not going away anytime soon, and I may need something other that exploratory Surgery.  skull nono no thank you.

"First I feel the pain, then sometimes, not alway's,but I can feel and see a Lump in the pelvic area, it might be either side, but it is tender to touch, almost hurtful if you press down hard enough, but after touching,I then hear the gurgling and rumbling noises. Something goes through.   This happens about four to six times a minute. I was going to see my GI doc about this, but what can she do ?

Just as long as this intestine doesn't rupture. nono not knowing how pliable these organs are, and if they are able to handle whatever is going through them alright. Gas, Food, both?"

Thank you!

Hi unhappycramper,
Only you know if something is not right and it sounds like that is where you are. If your body is telling you that you need immediate help, you need to listen to it if only just for peace of mind. I have many of the symptoms you list however I don't know to what degree you are suffering and if you feel that you need to go to the hospital then thats where you need to be. I honestly don't know if the intestines can rupture, I guess its possible but I'm sure it would take a lot to do that. Do you have a fever? A fever may indicate possible diverticulitis so you need to watch for that. I hope you listen to your gut (pun intended) and do what you feel is right.
Take Care and please keep us updated

Yes, they can rupture. If you are having a problem with constipation you might try a stool softener. I don't know why you would have a lump for anything else unless it is gas and then I don't think that would cause a rupture but a blockage could rupture.. It happened to my girlfriends Mom but she was very constipated she said. You might ask for a CT scan of abdomen and pelvic. I am not sure a ultrasound would show more than that. An endoscopy may show a stomach problem but it only goes as far as one quarter into small intestines.
