Was wondering how many of you find that when you lay down or are sleeping is the ONLY time you get relief from your gas and other pain ?

I have noted that when I lay down , rub tum , and sleep I get the best pain relief from that lol . Now if I could ONLY sleep ALL DAY we would be alright yeah

Hi Virginia,
Actually I wish I could say the same sometimes. I have many time waken up to pain and D and it drives me nuts. Its pretty much the cramping and the signal to run to the bathroom while you are bumping into walls for me. Do you take any meds at night that could be making you feel better? I think that maybe I am the abnormal one but I am worse from about 4am till 10am and I really don't need my alarm clock. :)

Oh sorry your one of them ones that do awaken at night :( I don't take any meds as of yet but have my doctors appointment this afternoon , so going to see about meds for the day pain ugh . I suffer from IBS C so I don't find I have the same pain as those with IBS D . Mine is crampy , gnawing , burning pain that I find is relieved when I lay down or go to sleep :) Thank Goodness cause I couldnt tolerate it if I did have pain in my sleep :(
