Probiotics verses Activa

I have been eating Activa for two weeks now. I do feel better, but I would say twice I have had sulphur smelling gas.

I bought Garden of Life Primal Defense yesterday at Claudia's Health Food Store. Has anyone used this or is using this? It states to start w/one tablet a day then slowly increase up to three.

What kind of side effects have people had with this product? Are there better products out there? I have heard Garden of Life is a reputable product!

Hi JHP,
You shouldn't be having side effects from probiotics. You might have some gas (w/cramps) if you start with a high dose but other than that it should be smooth sailing.
I don't take Primal Defense but I have heard MANY good things about it. There are a couple Crohnies who come around here who take it. Good stuff!

I take Acidophilus, Kyo-Dophilus and Phyto Pharmica Probiotic Pearls. I like to switch up every few months and try new ones. Maybe the next one I try will be Primal Defense.
