Hey..I just wanted to know if this is normal for IBS. I was at an out of town volleyball tournament in downtown Atlanta, where most of my meals were McDonalds on the run, or low vegetable and high fat content foods. Im used to eating very balanced, healthy meals at home and the fat and unregularity of eating like set off my intestines. I got this like, weird nauseated feeling. Its hard to describe..it felt more like it was coming from my intestines, not my stomach...if that made any sense lol. It went away when I ate something settling like ginger snaps..but then after it digested it came back. Anyone else get this?

Yes blondie, once you get your body used to eating healthy, high fat foods will set off an episode whether it be D, nausea, or vomiting. Same thing happens when someone becomes a vegetarian and later eats meat, they will get really sick. I believe its the fats that our bodies do not like and once it reaches a good point, those bad foods are like "poison" to us. (off my soapbox now, I like a good burger now and then but do suffer the consequences :)
