Hi all,

Do any of you notice that you have a certain time of day when you need to be near a bathroom more than others?

Sometimes I may be in the bathroom from the time I get up in the morning, including possibly a trip or two before the usual time I get up, until around 1PM.  Which may be nine or so trips, and then maybe only once or twice more the rest of the day.

Do any of you experience patterns like this?

Just curious.

Mary

Yes, when my guts were acting up last summer, I was always worse in the morning. I think there are a lot of people here who are worse before noon and then gradually get better after lunch.

That's usually my body's M.O. as well, although when I'm a garden hose (10+ days), the bowels don't discriminate and I could be on the throne at any hour.  Typically bowels are more active in the morning because your digested food from yesterday is sitting in the large intestine, ready to take its righteous place in the sewer, and when you wake up and have coffee or breakfast that stimulates your gastro-colonic reflex to get things moving.

I'm with the other girls... Morning D for me. Sometimes it happens at night if I had a BAD day or if I'm super stressed out during the day.

Mine has been SUPER weird lately...so i come home from school, and after I eat my snack, its miraculous. I have a NORMAL bowel movement! But then, immediatly after/during dinner, I get those awful i-know-its-gonna-happen cramps. about 10-20 minutes later, I get bad D. Then its over. It happens exactly like that for a week now. I just dont get it lol.
