Has anyone ever heard of pomegranate juice for IBS D?  I can't remember where I read or heard about it.  It has a high carb count.  Carbs set my stomach off.  Has anyone tried this?

I haven't heard of pomegranate juice for IBS either but have heard it has benefits for all sorts of things. It is really good stuff but I agree with blondie, VERY expensive. You may try some and see how it works. I'd be real interested to know.

Well I bought some, so I guess I will give it try. I will post if I see any benefits. Thanks.

I was drinking pom juice (pure, no additives or sweetners) for about 7 months and although I do enjoy it I unfortunately did not notice any improvements from it as far as my gut goes, but it is a healthy alternative to pop and sugary junk so if you like it stick with it....water is good for the bowels too.

Thanks pb4.  Were you drinking it daily, and if so, how much a day?
