Funny you say that because I just got some really bad sharp pains on my RLQ abdomen and the pain radiated to my lower back/upper buttock on the right side and its been really unbearable since yesterday. I have pretty much been on darvocet since then. I have no idea why but called my GI and the nurse said to double up or triple up on my symax sl (antispasmodic) but that didn't do much. That's why I am taking the darvocet. But they really didn't give me answers but I'm going for a c-scope next month anyway so I will bring it up again. Or if the pain doesn't get any better, before that.

There are several people on here who have complained about the pain in their guts radiating around to their back. Pain seems to be like gas--if can move around a lot. I know when I had periods in the past, I would hurt in my lower back and my uterus isn't any closer to my back than my intestines, so if that pain can travel, it seems perfectly reasonable, to me, that gut pain can radiate to the back as well.
