Hi sbppm,
Welcome to HealingWell! :-)
I haven't tried this drug, nor have I heard of it. What is it for? What type of IBS do you have?
Hopefully someone will be along shortly that can tell you about it.
Take care.

It is for IBS-D, it is an anti-spasmodic, like Levsin/Levbid together.  It is supposed to work immediately, but also work for 12 hours so you only take 1 twice a day.

Thanks for responding!!!!!

I have been taking this for over a year. It is Hyoscyamine with a new name. It is great, works quite well. But, it makes me very groggy the next day. I had to go back to bed this morning at 8am, and did not get back up until noon.  I would take one half and see how that works. I used to take these twice a day,and honestly, I have no clue how I got up and got things done.

I am trying to manage this ibs without meds, unless terribly necessary. I seem to be in a lot of paint these days.

hope this helps
