Hi everyone.  I just discovered this site this morning. I have all the same symptons as everyone else in the forum.
I am wondering if anyone else gets headaches as well.  The aches in my head don't last very long.  Just short bursts.  I am thinking this has something to do with anxiety.

Hi Louie,
Welcome to HealingWell! :-)
What type of IBS do you have? If you have IBS-D and you're going to the bathroom a lot, your headaches could be caused by dehydration.
I'm not too familiar with Anxiety symptoms... You may want to check out the Anxiety/Panic Disorder Forum here at HW.
Take care.

Thank you 7Lil for replying to my post.
I am beginning to think maybe I have something else and not IBS because last night I felt quite dizzy in the head and was running to the bathroom a lot during the night. Still feeling a little dizzy today.

I have had baream meal, colonoscopy and gastrosphy and nothing showed up. For this reason the medical team think it is IBS.

I haven't been told which type of IBS I have. When I see the specialist later this month he will probably tell me.

All of us are a bit different. We either have diahrea, constipation or alternate between the 2. That is what we mean by "what kind do you have?" Also we all go thru those feelings that it is something else. It is hard to accept that it is something that can't be defined and fixed easily. I don't know about the headaches. They may or may not be related. Anxiety can cause so many things and is especially bad with IBS.

Nice to hear from you Canyonbabe711. The doctor put me on antidepressants a couple of days ago. I am thinking now that these might have started the dizziness which I had last night. I will take 1/2 tablet instead of one, that is until I see him again.

I am so lucky to have found this site and get this support.
