Hi cindy. I'm in a similar position, i've got the severe d undercontrol but my stools are still loose as. Try taking some calcium before meals (e.g. caltrate 600d) and a fair bit of soluble fiber (metamucil, benefibre, etc). Also up your intake of soluble fibres like eat rice, white bread (not wholegrain). Always bulk up on fibre on an empty stomach also.
But get that colonscopy done pronto. At least it will be one more thing to cross off your list in trying to diagnose you with IBS. Also consider taking a bacterial overgrowth breath test.
