Once again, thanks so much Keriamon for posting a reply. I didnt have a banana yesterday and ill stop having it for a coupe of days. Ill try drinking more water around 8 glasses. I drank 2 Litres of water yesterday but honestly i spent the whole day at home because i had no control of my bladder and didnt get much sleep because i kept on waking up to urinate.
Oh really throwing up 8 times in one day is not associated with ibs?? These other doctors i kept on seeing told me its ibs by my symptoms. But before throwing up i never experienced left abdominal pain. I only experienced a funny feeling on the left side of my abs and then more stool would come out with a bad odor but it never stopped me from eating and i never got bad gas but i was bloated but after a bowl movement everything would go away. But now everything seems to be getting worse and worse. I have been having activa yogurt.
I know i keep on repeating myself its just so frustrating going through this and i really hope all of us can get help one day. And then the fact that they said im chronic now im going even more insane because im fairly young and this is the first time im going through something like this so i dont know what all this medical lingo really means.
Well i had my abdominal CT scan 2 days ago. And it was kinda embarassing and painful. It was also wierd that i got to keep my t-shirt on but had to take off my undies. Hope i dont have to redo it or anything. Well i gotta wait till dec 21 to see the GI specialist and get my resuts.
I really hope all of this is bacteria. As for the drugs i stopped everything. As i realised my old GI specialist i have no reason to trust him because he keep on telling me i was fine even after loosing 10 pounds  he told me it was normal. He kept on giving me samples of pantaloc when i told him the acid wasnt the problem. I told him i feel like a buildup and pointed to the left side of my abs and he gave me dicetel which were expired. And he said this will open up my intestines i took one tablet of that and stopped it because i felt my heart beating even faster and honestly didnt even know what the reason i was taking it for because all he did was a few blood tests and said im healty on paper so he is running out of ideas.
Hopefully this new GI specialist will find the answers.
Take care guys and keep me posted on new findings and anything new.

I know people get tired of me mentioning this but stay away from dairy including Activa for a week and see how you do. Eat a bland diet of rice, potatoes, chicken, fish, cooked veggies and canned fruit and see if it helps. Acid can cause the throwing up. I mention the dairy cause I have so many friends that just kept getting worse even though they were told to stop dairy. When they did they said it was like a new life for them and slowly they have been able to add it back in.

Weren't you given a gown for you scan? I had to take off my bra but I don't think I had to take off panties and mine was abdominal and pelvic.

I had an abdominal & pelvic unltrasound and I didn't have to take off my panties either. I took everything BUT my panties and socks. Why was it painful????? (do you mean mentally painful and not physically?)

She said it was a CT scan. That can't be painful. US can be painful though especially if you have all that water in your system when they do it but no reason a CT scan should be as nothing is touching you.
I did have to take my stuff off for Ultrasound though as they put that gel on you so they can glide the ultrasound mic around.

I just had another CT scan myself yesterday. It's the barium contrast that always hurts me. I have bowel adhesions and stay mostly on a liquid diet anyway, but that stuff just takes forever to clear out of my body. Until it does, my pain and nausea levels skyrocket for a few days. Needless to say, today has been horrible.

If the doc orders an abdominal CT scan with contrast, look out! That usually includes not only drinking the contrast, but having it run up the other end as well. I realize the techs do this every day, but that is one of the more humiliating tests to look forward to with any bowel problem. The worst ever was the barium enema. If I ever get to feeling better, I'll post that experience - at least I can laugh about it now in hind sight (ooooh! bad pun!). :-)

There must be a lot of different abdominal CT scans. I have had several and usually they just inject the dye in my vein. I have also had them where I had to drink something earlier and just before. I don't know why there are so many different ways but they all seem to show the same thing. Now a Barium enema is a different thing and I have never had Barium shoved up for a CT scan not even a pelvic scan though I had a Barium enema years ago with x-rays done where I had to hold it but that was years ago. I mention all this only because I don't want people to be scared and worried when someone mention abdominal CT scan. It may not be so bad.
