After 7 weeks of "D", I'm finally starting to feel better. I have been eating more soluble fiber and no junk, taking probiotics, peppermint capsules and drinking fennet tea and gatorade. The big news is that I actually passed gas tonight without having an accident!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't been able to do that in a long time. yeah

That's great! I hope it continues to work for you. I know after my last round of antibiotics, it took many weeks to get back to normal with the aid of probiotics. Be sure to stay on them for a good while!

Hooray!!!!  So glad you're feeling better.  yeah

Isn't it weird how the simplest things we take for granted are so wonderful?  Who would have thought that being able to fart in peace is so great?  I remember seeing a post on this board called something like "Did I really have a normal bowel movement!?!"
It's fantastic when things seem to be getting back to "normal" -- Enjoy it!

:-)   Lets hope it stays that way indefinitely.  :-)

Well, I was good for about a week, and generally okay. stools are very soft but not going back to having D 5-7 times a day. And, not much pain or cramping lately either. And, yes - I'm still passing gas without having an accident - LOL
So glad that this forum is here - I would have never told others my excitement that day!

Great news!  So glad you are not going back to D.  That regimen for you seems to be working.  Keep it up and you might just stay that way.  :-)
