Good luck!!! Do you have an appointment? It's actually probably a great idea to see the doc while in the middle of an attack. It shows the doc exactly what you're going through and where the problem is. Let us know how it goes...

Oh yea it was an appointment ...........he told me the results from my last CT scan and said i had lipnods around my colon but doesnt think its anything to worry about but he still wants to do a colonoscopy (which would be my second one) just to see if it could be Crons? because he said it could hide from a CT Scan so he wants to look at a certain part of my colon .joy

Well, it's not the best news... But maybe they'll get to the bottom of your problems. If you indeed have IBD then at least you can be treated for it and maybe even go into remission. Are you having the scope?

Don't worry about the scope, nst.  It can even be FUN (ha)!  If you buy a billion magazines, have several hot baths, limit your food intake two days before, and drink Lemon Gatorade diluted with water - you'll be good to go.  You'll be out for the scope.  Won't remember a thing about it.  And maybe they'll have an answer for you when you wake up.

When are you having the lovely procedure done?

Nst114,
It's not that uncommon to wake up in the middle of the scope... I did. The only thing is that you're supposed to at least be in a twilight state. That way what you remember almost feels like a dream. When I woke up I felt a little pain but then I fell right back asleep. Maybe if you mention your past scope experience your doc will be inclined to give you a bit more sedative. ???
Make sure that when you take those 30-some-odd pills you drink lots of fluids.

I hear you on that one, Nst. When I went for my last surgery, my heart rate was like 144. Even when I walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill, I can't get it over 100, lol. And it was all about the needle, not about the surgery.

Ok I had the colonoscope today! i was the least bit nervous this time after i convinced my self to get over the pain of the IV needle
i didnt like the pills i have to take before i think it was 32 of them i had to take and everything came out it was just that i still needed to go as i was waiting to have the procedure done in the bed ...... thoughts of the doctor putting the scope up and everything bursting out ran through my head ! but when i went back there he game be some medicines to knock me out or w/e but once again i woke up in the middle and watched the screen askin them wat certain things were and stuff like that....but then he got the nurse to give me some more medicine guess i was talkin to much ......and i was takin back to my room where i didnt go back to sleep and i just laid there on my side trying to pass silent gas ......the doctor said that he didnt think it was Chrons? and that i had limpnods? and i really dont kno but he is giving me new medicine to help with constipation starts with an A and im still on the laxitive stuff
