morning all.

well its morning here anyway

i was just wondering whether anyone could help me

my stomache pain is now always a little sore  with worse pain after i eat  sometimes triggoring the pain in my ribs and my right hip to my knee etc, and my back

around that time of the month the back pain can be crippling  it lasts for days while the period itself is very light and only lasts about 3-4 days

i get odd peaks and dips in my pain as we all do i guess

i have 1-2 weeks of only soreness after i eat and i say to myself  "im cured!"  i eat the same  drink the same  excercise the same every day

then it gets steadily worse and i think  "this is nothing, just ignore it"

then with hardly any warning i get a very bad attack  i have collapsed a few times on these occasions and on a particularly bad one i actually passed out  when i came to i had been moved to my friends bedroom

i was sort of shivering though i wasnt cold and was vomiting

after an attack this bad i get a few hours of bad pain  then a few hours of soreness which in comparison is heaven then more pain for hours then soreness etc  this is on and off for a month or so then i think it will never come back  it started getting this bad around march last year   before then i got just bad stomache pain

its an endless cycle  ive been advised by my aunt whos a nurse  to cut out wheat  which helped a little   but it still happens

perhaps i should ask for food tests

any suggestions?

My cousin used to have terrible sickness when she had her period. She used to vomit and be dizzy/blacked out and she always missed at least one day a month of school or work to stay in bed. I think she's gotten better since she had a couple of kids, although I think she first got treatment through birth control pills. Are you on birth control? Lil found the pill made her worse, so if you're already on some form of birth control, you may look to stop it or switch to something else to see if you improve. If you're not on it, try it and see if you get less sick around your periods.

its only crippling back pain that happens at that time   the rest is quite random and is nothing to do with that   which is lucky

in fact i dont change at all round that time

these bad attacks are definatly stomache related  but i can feel fine for weeks or even a month  oddly though usually the stomache pain doesnt bother me as much when im on    but the bowels do

the back pain has been a problem since my "friend" kicked me there a few years ago   then the stomache got bad  then march 06 it started affecting everything badly

its not knowing if this one will be my last and not knowing what makes me this bad and i cant predict when it will happen

sometimes it gets quite bad and i think  here comes another one  but it passes after a few days  then it gets bad again  i think  this is just another false alarm  and its not

the ones i can remember happened in  march and lasted a few days, august and lasted about a month, december and lasted a few days

i dont know what sets it off  i get bad stomache pains every day now and joint and hip pain every other day

im just curious really  and my bfs worried   if he wasnt i wouldnt make a fuss

i had just ignored it for 3 years until he found out and ansisted i see doc

they never listen

on mebeverine now   not supposed to have side effects but my pain got a lot worse
