Alright folks, I just did something I thought I would never do...

I went fishing in my work toilet!  Yuck!  LOL  I was just about to go and then "bloop" there goes my badge.  It plunged right in and immediately sank to the bottom.  What was I supposed to do?  I had to go in after it.  Thank goodness I hadn't used the toilet yet.  tongue   I washed my badge and hand/arm off pretty well... But is that enough?  I might need to do some bleaching when I get home later.

Anyone else ever go fishing?

Yes LOL... I put my hair up every night in a scrunchie thingy and I went to use the bathroom one morning and I guess it got loose so if fell off and fell in. Luckily I felt it fall before I used the toilet but just barely. I threw that thing away immediately and washed my hand really well (and luckily it didn't sink). Luckily I was home so I could jump in the shower. Do you think that anyone has Lysol? I would probably spray that on my arm and wait about 20 minutes before washing it off.

Des, I have Purell at my desk so I've been using that non-stop. I've also washed my hands about 10 times since too. I feel so yucky. I might end up asking for a new badge.
You know, I've dropped those hair things in the toiled too. LOL I just flushed them. No way I was going fishing for something I wasn't planning on using again. You're good though, they probably shouldn't be flushed.  tongue

Yeah, didn't want to pay the plumber an arm and a leg for a 50 cent hair accessory. LOL :-)

I always worry about that happening with something like my cell phone, when I'm using the bathroom at a store. I'm not sure what I'd do! I might just leave it!

I've dropped my work badge in too. After I washed it off in the bathroom sink, I took it to the kitchen and gave it a wash with the antibacterial soap.

Did you know, though, that studies have found that the average office desk has something like 10 times the number of germs as a toliet seat? You're probably in contact with more nastiness everyday that you don't put your arm down the toliet. Lol.

My husband still laments something he lost--I think it was a good knife--down a porta toilet. He DIDN'T fish it out.

I've dropped the nail clippers into the toilet a few times. At least they're cheap.

Oh, I forgot, my friend dropped her cell phone in the toliet. She got it out, but the water ended up seeping in and shorting it out. And I seem to recall being a kid and changing clothes in a toliet and dropping my shirt in. So, you're definitely in company!
