I hate waking up to my stomach feeling gross. This morning, i woke up, and just didn't feel right. Nothing i can put my finger on - i was a bit gassy a little earlier - but just generally feel kind of yucky.

The good news, however: I have been practically symptom-free, other than this morning, for quite a while. Still have some gas, but have always had some gas - everything else has been fairly normal. Had a bad cold and got dehydrated (just because i didn't drink enough) and had a bout of C, but that was understandable b/c of the dehydration. I hardly EVER get nauseated anymore, which is a small miracle, because that was the main thing that was so hard to deal with for me. I'm not doing anything different - in fact, i'm eating much worse than i was when i had that really bad flare-up for an extended period of time back in january/february. it just seems like my gut has calmed down. i hope it stays that way.

also, funny story that only y'all could appreciate:
yesterday, a fuse blew in my bathroom lights. so on top of the annoyance of having to use my roommates' shower, when i had a BM yesterday, i could look at it. or, i could look at it, but just couldn't see it. there was a little bit of mucous, too, so i wanted to be able to see how much, and the quality - you all know the drill, i'm sure. it made me laugh at myself - i was looking around for a flashlight, just so i could see my own BM. gotta love that.

Hi sunshine,
Have you tried drinking some tea in the morning? I wake up a lot with a sour stomach. Recently I have discovered Lemon Grass Green Tea and it is wonderful. It clears up my upset stomach within 5 or 10 minutes.
You can also try ginger (ale, crackers, pills, gum, tea).
Hope you feel better soon.
