I am on so many scary medications right now. One even said on the label that it could increase risk of heart attack!! So what is the difference here?? I think the zelnorm issue is a labeling issue. Chemo drugs are not pretty either. Only people should use it ONLY if they have nothing else and cannot walk or eat.....like me.
Has anyone been on Reglan. I was just put on it but I am afraid of getting the twitching syndrome sad

Reglan has quite a few side effects I heard and it is expensive. Is this a motility problem? If so there is a drug called Motilium that is available in drug stores in other countries that works very well. It has been out for many years but never approved in this country as it is generic and no money to go thru the paces. I get in online and it really helps with the bloating. My Dr. knows about it and he is the one that said there was no money in getting it thru the FDA and it was fine for me to use, he just couldn't prescribe it. i use it only occassionally when I am bloated, gassy and things just need to move faster out of my stomach. I dont think you are going to get Zelnorm for awhile. If your Dr. happens to be from another country he will not about Motilium. If must be pretty safe cause they give it to mothers to increase milk supply at high dosages. I don't think you can compare chemo drugs to Zelnorm. In the case of chemo it is to try and save a life.

thanks from hungry - is motillum domperidone? My doctors also told me to get this. Isn't it expensive too? Where do you get yours? My doctor filled out an IND for Zelnorm but I have been waiting and waiting and so far no reply.

Yes, that is what it is. It is super cheap. Like 30cents a pill. I have not bought for a long time as it lasts me a long time. I don't think I am allowed to post a website so you will have to Google it, I am afraid. I do not pay shipping and the company I use is very good and reliable. It is in New Zealand, I think. I buy a number of things from there.

Canyon, you can post any website you do not have a vested interest in. The website, must however, be appropriate (i.e. OK for childern). For example, I've mentioned that I buy a lot of my probiotics at drugstore.com.

Oh, OK, no, no vested interest in any website. The site I use for Motilium is www.inhousepharmacy.com I do like them and found them very reliable.
