i went to see my gp on friday abuot some blod test results. i had some done on my imune system. appaernly thye do three tests on thme and one came back positive so not raelly sure waht thta all means. got to speak to gp on monday as the gp i swa on friday didnet raelly know any thing abuot it.

she has refferd me back to the mental healht unit for another assainment as she said the help thye are givinng me at the momnent is not enuhgo. she suggested giong back on anitdepreesants but i am not keen at mo. i am still hvaeing prolbems from the op i had nearly two weeks ago. i am still raelly tired and in pain.

my gp has aslo oreded more blood tests to find out waht is giong on. fasting blood glucose, chlotestal, thoriod, iron levels. so hoping so to hvae some reason for feeling like thsi. see spent abuot half an hour talking to me whcih in my gp sugery is a long time. my stomach is bad agian in pain and canet stop giong to toilet. i am hopeing my gp can help push for the cognative baehourail thearpy thye think would be good for me. the troulbe is you hvae to wait for so long to get any thing. i am still waiting for a colonscopy whcih is next monht.

i am feeling down any way as i saw a gynecoloist on thursday at local hosiptal and he basically said thta there is nothing thye can do for my pcos condition whcih is geting worse. i nearly cried there and thne. i did hvae a cry wehn in hosptail because of there pain i was in. i aslo cried wehn gyne said waht he said.

Hi oneday,
I am so sorry about the extent of your suffering. You really need to find a doctor that can help you manage all your symptoms (pain, pcos, depression, D, etc.). Your healthcare seems horrible! Why are they waiting so long for tests?
From the sound of it, it might be a good idea to get on antidepressants. It should help you feel better about things and might even help with the D. You really do need to see a therapist and maybe a pain management doc. When will you find out about the Cognative Behavoir Therapy?

I had a line put in my forearm once and I hurt so bad while the nurse was digging that I only managed to get out one curse word. That has nothing to do with low pain tolerance; that really HURTS!

If you have a problem with your immune system, that could explain everything: the reoccuring sinus problems, even the bowel problems. Hopefully they will figure out which immune problem it is that you have (fibro and crohn's both are auto-immune system problems) and can get you on stome drugs that will help all of your symptoms.

I agree with Lil that some antidepressants might help you. I'd certainly be depressed if I was in your situation, and some anti-depressants are prescribed for IBS specifically, so there's always a chance that they will help your bowels. At this point, can they make you feel any worse???
