I just read on the site of the makers of Digestive Advantage, that they have a new product specifically for constipation.  I wonder if it could help you IBS-Cers.  As the DA for IBS seems to work pretty well, I can't imagine you C-ers would have anything to lose.

I just went on the makers website -- they will send you a free sample as well. I saw the one for C, but it has too much fiber for me (I know, weird). I ordered the sample of the IBS one... we'll see.

Lil and the IBS gang - you've been a great help, thanks so much.

I forgot about the free samples! That's awesome. Were you able to get the pills instead of the chewables?

Hopefully the DA for IBS works for you. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Let us know how it goes.

Ya know, I didn't even look which one they were sending -- uh oh! I saw free sample and ordered. Drats!! I'll get back to you when I actually start them. My fingers are crossed as well. Thanks again.

I don't think it works anything like Zelnorm... it seems to be mostly natural. Zelnorm was/is chemically designed.

ok, I ordered samples, too (I just do what starrnr does) ;)
47 y/o woman.  Diagnosed 4/06 after colonscopy, SBFT, CT-scan all showed crohns. 3 months later, after pred and remicade, all tests showed no crohns. In December had adhesions cut through a laparoscopy. Now just taking Glycolax, metamucil, and prevacid and feeling pretty darn good!

This would be wonderful to have it all in one. Ordered a sample of the new one.
