finally i had my small bowel follow thuogh test done today. i wasnet given the results thuogh i hvae to wait unitl feb next yaer. i had the pian so bad today. the fisrt thnig i did wehn i got out of hopstial was to take all my pian meds and anitspasmotics. i got the impression thta not all the pian may be due to ibs. thye montioned my pcos condtion. so stil sdonet raelly know any more. if the pian is thta bad tomorow thne i will jsut stay in bed as it was so bad today. i couldnet move off the xray table at one point. thye were patioent wiht me. i feel frustrated as i want the pian to go. i am gonna demand to see a gyne as well. i thnik it cuold be both ibs and pcos and thta is why my pian is so bad. i go thuogh stages wehn the pian is not so bad and i can do waht i want and thne it is so bad thta i canet do anythnig.

I feel for you and know what you're going through. Make sure you drink lots and lots of water to flush the barium through your system. February seems like a long time to wait for test results, can't your doctor get an amswer quicker?

oneday, they should be able to get these results back to you within a week.  But ask specifically for the radiologist's report; have them mail the report directly to you so you can see it with your own two eyes.  There is no reason for you to wait until February for those results!

as i live in the uk i hvae to wait ages for a apointment to see gi. thye actualy discharged me after the coloncsopy wiht out even teling me the results. i had to phone thme up sevon weks after it and ask to spaek to gi. i thne got told to hvae a small bowel follow thuogh and make a apointment to see gi two weks after hvaeing test. but wehn i phoned up thye didnet even know who i was.

i jsut need some anserws as the pian is geting worse. i layed down in bed yesrtuday as i cuoldnet move the pian was so bad. it took abuot two huors for the meds to kick in. if i donet hear from thme in a few dyas thne i will phone thme.

That's strange here in Texas where I live I got a written report of my condition before I got dressed to come home.......They are slow aren't they,lol.

yaeh thye take thme time wehn doing thnigs thta for sure. i am gonna phone hosptial next wek see waht thye say. all i wanna know is wehre the pian is comeing from and waht i can do abuot it.
