Could be gas, could be gall bladder. I'd really suspect gas if it happens in different spots or moves around after it begins. While pain in the shoulders and between the shoulder blades is also a gas sign, if it starts localizing on the right side, then it might be gall bladder pains.

Oneday, back pain can be caused by a lot of things, so if it is really nagging you, you should go to the doctor. I know that's probably the last thing you want to hear! But it could be gas pains, a kidney infection, a urinary tract infection, a malfunctioning gallbladder, a too-spicy meal, a pulled muscle...the list goes on and on. How is it feeling today?

I get the same pain in my back between the shoulders. It goes away when I stand up and move but I get it back if I sit to long. I was thinking it could be my gall baldder also but I have no other symptoms except for some minor gas reflux.
However my chiropractor thinks it may be my back also. MY GP checked me and thinks I am ok and have no issues.
