I went to the ER on Thursday and have a 4.6 mm kidney stone, they gave me dilaudid, toradol and zofran and said that "it should pass" and sent me home. I went to my specialist the next day and he said that he would let me go home and try to pass it on my own although none of my other stones have. I have to call him in a few hours and give him the bad news :-(

I dread having another procedure done! I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted in December so no lithotripsy for me, and quite honestlly? I'm tired of the hospital stuff. It's really tough to have someone come stay with the baby and someone else take me to the hospital. *sigh*

I'm wondering how long I can "put it off" lol (I know that's really stupid and no way my doc will let me do that)

I just wanted to vent a second. I have had 4-5 other stones, all requiring intervention...so I pretty much expected this.

Thanks for the vent :-)
