I am glad to hear you are doing better and that the doctor said he got all the tumor. I know it will be a long road of recovery for you but you sound like you are off to a good start. I hope you feel better very soon and are able to do some gardening. Take it easy on yourself.

Hey All,
I can drive again woohoo! So about those phantom pains they are still there and today I went to see my reg. doc and he said I will get all sorts of stuff happen to me, cause my is trying to cope with just the one kidney. But still hurts getting in and out of the car! And walking long periods of time. I find if I hold the bottom of my tummy I can walk alittle. I guess its like a security thing or something. I see my surgine on April 16th to discuss kemo cause he said it was most likely cancer! So alittle scared about that cause im only 30! Well I better get back to eatting lunch. My wife made me home made low sodium pizza. mmmmmm...
Thanx again guys for keeping touch your bud, Brad yeah

Hi Brad. Nice to meet you but sorry its under these circumstances. Kidney removal! Wow what a thing to go through. I'm so thrilled to here that you are taking walks and driving. I don't even know if I could bring myself to do that.

I hope your recovery goes well and I hope those pains are phantom and not something to worry about.

Hey Brad,

So glad to hear you are doing well!  I haven't been on for awhile due to some medical issues causing too much pain as well as illnesses and extremely busy at work, but just wanted to say that my 32 yr old nephew had severe pain, went to er where they  found  a kidney mass & went to a "big city" hospital where they took out the kidney via lap. he was released a couple of days later & returned to work as a police detective 3 weeks later.  He didn't have to have any chemo as most kidney cancers are contained in the kidney and removal takes care of it.  It's been a year this past Nov. and he's doing great!

I hope this is encouraging news for you and you too get good news at the drs.  I wish you the very best and will keep you in my prayers,

There's AWAYS HOPE, there's a doctor out there that WILL help you and things WILL get better :):):):):)
