I wanted to thank a member on here that said I might have interstitial cystitis. I'm not sure if this will be my diagnosis but from reading on it, it sure sounds like its a good possibility.

I had a Urologist that did my first Bladder lift and held it in place with mesh, this was in 5/2004. Then in 2009 my bladder and colon fell out of vagina. Took me months to find a Doctor that could do both surgeries. Apparently the bladder had bulged over the mesh and this was supposedly causing the problem.

Well, I am still in severe pain. Non-stop burning feeling, Urinating frequently. I hurt also in lower pelvic region. It gets painful enough that it hurts doing anything and just sitting. Its even causing me to not sleep at night.

I found another Urologist in my area and was so shocked and happy that they can see me next week. Praying that they can help me.

Mscrowbar,

I missed my first appointment but made the 2nd. The Doctor thinks that I am having pelvic trauma and dysfunction. He said there is no meds for the excruciating pain but recommended for me to try physical therapy for the pelvic region. He said I'm in one constant spasm that isn't relaxing at all.

I have to admit this is putting me in a bad place. I'm feeling rather defeated and hopeless. I just can't understand how there isn't meds to at least ease up the spasms. I am living on over-the-counter Urinary Pain Relief but with my ileostomy the pills go thru my system so fast that their not doing anything hardly.

If anyone has any suggestions or med suggestions I would greatly appreciate anything you have to say.
