redface  I have not been on here in quite some time.  I read some of the posts which actually answers some of my questions.  Thank you.  Or at least makes me feel better somewhat.  thank you again.

I have multiple bilateral cycsts and some are 3.5 cm, others 2.8 cm and some are exophytic.  I go through periods of horrible burning in my kidneys and was diagnosed back in 91 with PKD, but there was nothing seriously going on at that time. Now that I am older, I have been having more issues with burning and hemuria, and infection.  I have no cycts or stones in my bladder and am happy about that.  However, I had a Nurse's Practitioner refuse me to see the Urologist and said it will be all right.  I dealt wth this for about 4 months.  When she did send me to another doctor it was finally a Urologist, but he was at a loss because she just requested him to see if a stone was in my bladder.  No.  I already new that. Two other of my doctors has mentioned for me to see a nephrologist to be monitored.

Is PKD anything to worry about

thank you, grannytoo
