So almost 3 weeks ago I started having constant lower back aches, almost like I was getting my cycle but it wasn't due for 2 weeks. I started to have to urinate a lot and an urge came out of nowhere, a strong one. 2 days later I went to urgent care because I wasn't feeling better...negative UTI dip test but trace blood in urine. They gave me 7 days of macrobid which did nothing. On day 5 of the macrobid I started taking D Mannose and within 2 days I was almost back to normal. I had an appointment with my doc though. I was feeling pretty good but he did another UTI dip test....negative again, still blood. Now that week I had faint aching radiating up the right side of my back, I assumed it was from carrying my son. That friday night it was aching so bad I took half of my husbands vicodin...I normally won't touch tylenol! Next day I had a fever, headache, sore throat and runny nose. (I can't catch a break...but I haven't been sick n 3+years). Back was feeling a lot better but within the last week it was bothered me mildly on and off. Doc wanted me to get a Urinalysis 3 days after my peiriod and I have been having sharp bladder pains, have to pee like 3+ times per hour, head pressure/aches and weird sensations in my back where it was aching. I don't know what to do...if they say I don't have a UTI but I am not getting any better...? Is this common for the dip test to have a false negative? Should they have done a culture? I am worried it could be my kidney but I'm not running a fever. Advice?
