On and off for about 2 weeks I have had some low cramping in my stomach accompanied by low back ache. The pain comes and goes. I have had some problems urinating as well. And there was blood found in my urine also. I went to the doctor and he ordered some blood tests and an ultrasound. My blood work came back showing that my vitamin d levels were very low still which we all ready knew, but thought the vit d I was taking would fix it. And the ultrasound came back showing that there was something wrong with my kidneys. I had the same ultra sound done about 6 weeks ago and there was no apparent kidney problems then. But now my ultrasound shows there is. I had surgery about 8 weeks ago to repair my hiatal hernia. And went in to have the ultrasound done afterward twice now. It wasn't until the 2nd ultrasound that the possible kidney problems were found. My question is this; Is it possible for kidney stones or something else to take place in this amount of time? Is it possible that the first ultrasound missed it? And, is it possible that there is something else wrong with my kidneys that I do not know about yet? Or during surgery could something of happened that caused this problem? I get kind of worried hearing that I may have this going on. I will be seeing a specialist for this with further testing. I guess the urologist will be able to tell me more. Just feeling a little anxious about all of this and was hoping someone might have some answers for me. Hopefully this can be solved simply and all will be fine. Also, meantime is there anything I can do for the pain. Seems like the more I drink and keep fluids in the worse I feel. Thanks for your time reading my post. In pain and needing advice badly. cry
