Hi everyone ~

Background...Sept 2011 I fell against my bathroom sink after tripping on a cord. I was stunned? Went to ER thinking I broke a rib. Did not. Badly bruised. 3 days later had back spasms and saw a chiropractor for 3 days as could not sit, sleep, etc.

Fast forward to today ended up seeing my primary doc as sometimes I have pain where I fell. Soreness comes and goes mostly notice it in the morning. He ordered an ultrasound Fri and came back that there is a small mass on the right kidney? Doc not sure so ordered a CT scan w/contrast. Had that done next day now waiting to hear what this is? Most likely will hear Monday.

Needless to say it's on my mind? Doc said hopefully a cyst. If mass, need to see urologist? good grief?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be so appreciated. How I stop obsessing about this??

I"m also a crohn's patient on generic Endocort and have always found great help on this site for that!

Tks much ~

Hi, Its funny how something that happened. nearly a year ago, that stunned you, can be what makes you go seek new doctor and he finds something that should not be ignored. Hope that all turns out in your favor, keep in touch and let us all know because we will be thinking of you.....Cat

interestingly enough, the CT scan showed no mass.  could have been inflamation due to crohn's.
however, they did find a polyp in my bladder?
getting that checked next week.
always something ;-)

Hi Nancy P., sorry to hear about the small mass. My husband has been recently diagnosed with the same. Maybe you can help calm my nerves. It was discovered as a result of a CT for appendicitis. It's just really set my world on edge.
