Hubby has had a leg cath in for weeks now (has been changed when urologist directed). It has been very consistent in the output and all of a sudden the output has increased and the amount of time it normally takes has decreased. He drinks the same amount of water each day at the same time. This sudden change has him concerned. Do you think this is anything to be concerned about? Have a call in for the urologist now. He did get an infection and has been on Nitrofurantoin for a week and will continue that for another week. Has never had a kidney or bladder infection until getting this cath.
Thanks for any input!
