Hi There

I'm looking for a bit of advice as to what i should be asking my GP when i next see her. I have a long history of recurrent UTI's and pyelonephritis requiring hospitilisation. I had tests done about 4 years ago and they all came back normal however went for a repeat cystoscopy in december and had to have a urethral dilatation done due to scarring. Recently i have been suffering from chronic kidney pain where there is no infection. I am tired all the time and have suffered a few dizzy spells over the past couple of weeks. I have also noticed that i have minor swelling in my ankles and under my eyes from time to time. I have been doing regular urinalysis tests at home and they are almost always positive for small amounts of protein. I'm thinking i should ask for a referral for repeat kidney function tests to be carried out but i'm unsure what other tests i should be asking for. Any help?

Thanks

Kerry x
