Hey there y'all.

I am a new member here and I'm excited to join into the discussion. as an introduction, let me say, I'm a dialysis patient and have been since August 2008 so in a few days, I'll be in my fifth year. I am also a Patient Advisory Committee member of the ESRD Network of Texas representing 36,000 ESRD patients in my home state. I'm also a Patient Ambassador for Dialysis Patient Citizens based in Washington, DC and lobbying Congress on behalf of dialysis patients and I have a blog site where I write about my life and experience as a dialysis patient.

Today, I wrote about Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and my work experience. It's been eventful, to say the least, but I hope that others can learn from my experience and avoid the mistakes I've made. Please take a moment and read the first installment of a two part series about CKD and Your Job...
